GWE main products fall into ten categories and 4,000 kinds, mainly used for

electrical distribution and control. The products range include high-, and

low-voltage electrical apparatus and switchgear up to 10kV, electrical drives and

controls, automation equipment, prefabricated substation, dry type transformer,

busway, as well as electrical alloy materials, springs, and precision dies and

Cast epoxy dry type transformer SCB8: A third-generation cast

resin product with technology from Tuboly AG of Switzerland. Foil

windings for both high and low voltage. Fiberglass winding

reinforced with fillers. Features: thin insulation, low voltage

between layers, good heat dissapitation, compact design, strong

overload capability and low noise.

Reinforced insulation busway CCKX18: For use in electrical

transmission and distribution. Features compact design,

interchangeability, high transmission capacity, low transmission

loss, reliable insulation, and safe earthing system. The unique

joint technology is patented in China.

Electrical alloy materials: Electrical contact pieces with wolfram

base for use on oil, less-oil, air, SF6 circuit breakers,

contactors, load break switches as well as on-load tap-over

switches. 10-550kV.

An average of 20 new products is released by GWE and gets approval of provincial level

Drive systems for mine hoists: Over 60 sets of systems have been

in service since 1975. Capacity: 400KW-3000KW. One was exported

to Bangladesh.

Drive systems for rolling mills: Over 40 sets of systems have been

in service in main iron and steel companies in China since 1983.

Drive system for oil rigs: Nine sets of systems, two imported

included, have been in service on desert, land and offshore oil

rigs since 1978. Oil well depth up to 4500, 5000 and 6000 meters.

Awarded First Prizes for National Key Equipment, National

Sci-tech Achievement.

General purpose drive systems: Over 30 sets of systems have been

in service around China.

Water treatment control system: Over 30 sets in service.

Large quantities of standard products are in service, such as medium-frequency heating

power supply, high-frequency inverter switching power supply, high-frequency inverter

DC arc welding machines and Ni-Cd battery DC power supply system, as well as power

semi-conductor device and modules.

Precision dies and moulds: Over 30 sets have been in service of customers such as

Haier Group, Kelon Group, Guangdong Wanbao, Guangdong Kangbao, Lanzhou Electric

Motors Co.. They are ideal replacement of dies and moulds imported from Italy,

Germany and Japan.

Reinforced insulation busway are supplied to key projects such as: Lanzhou Chemical

Co., Lanzhou Oil Refinery, Shandong Laiyang Heavy-duty Machinery Plant; Changsha

Tongcheng International Plaza, Sichuan Ertan Hydropower Plant; Command Center of

Guangdong Public Security Department, phases I and II; Shanhaiguan Shipyard, Chengdu

Tianyi Mansion; Liaoning Television Station Central Building, and Office Building of

the Construction Bank Shanxi Branch, etc.

Complete sets of equipment were exported to countries and regions such as: Thailand,

Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, the Philippines, Burma, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, India

and Malaysia, etc.

Electrical apparatus and contact pieces were exported to countries and regions such

as: Burma, Malaysia, Singapore, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arab, Egypt, Guinea, Uruguay,

Vietnam, Japan, and Taiwan.
