GWE main MV products include 10kV/40.5kV vacuum circuit breaker and
switchgear with both welded and assembled structure. They are leading
products in terms of both technology and market share in China. There is

Through this project the estimated annual output of new products reaches
1,000 SF6 insulated switchgear, 600 SF6 insulated ring main units, 2000
microprocessor protection and distribution automation products. The total
investment is 30 million yuan. Estimate of annual output is 100
million-yuan.
Intelligent Low-voltage Draw-out Switchgear
In this product an intelligent controller replaces traditional
separated
control relay, switch, timer and overload protection device, and wires are
reduced. The complete process control, motor protection and monitoring are
incorporated in only one apparatus that is connected to central computer,
realizing distributed control over low-voltage electrical distribution. Our
intelligent LV draw-out switchgear is a leading product with international
advanced level of technology. Estimated annual output is 3500 panels. The
total investment is 23 million yuan. Estimated annual output is 50
million-yuan.
New Generation Busway
Busway is a product for transmission and distribution of electrical
power,
featuring compact design, interchangeability, high capacity, low line loss,
high short circuit capacity, high reliability, flexible outlet, easy
extension and convenient field erection. With the development of China
power industry and increasing need for better quality of electricity, it is
a trend that busway will be replacement of traditional cables. Our new
generation busway include DC, high-voltage, fireproof, waterproof and
erosion-free busway for special purposes. Estimated annual output is
120,000 meters with market share of 10%. The total investment is 29.6
million yuan. Estimated annual output is 60 million-yuan.
Fieldbus Based Industrial Automation System
Fieldbus control system is a new generation control system. It is
now a hot
issue in automatic control technology in this century. It brings more
convenience to end-users of automation systems. What is more, it will bring
the development of intelligent electrical apparatus, which can be connected
to the internet. The fieldbus based industrial automation system developed
by GWE will mainly used in automation of urban and rural electrical
systems, buildings, water supply pipe system and drainage process, and that
of auxiliary equipment in power plants. There is huge market potential. The
total investment is 38 million-yuan. Estimated annual output is 81
million-yuan.
Intelligent Air Circuit Breaker
This is a modular, digital LV apparatus incorporating control and
protection
function, featuring self-diagnosis, load monitoring, control and display,
which provides complete and reliable protection of power system. It is a
third-generation product with 1990抯 international advanced technical
level. Estimated annual output is 10,000 pieces with market share of 5%.
The total investment is 30 million yuan. Estimated annual output is 60
million-yuan.
Intelligent Molded-case Circuit Breaker
This is a latest product developed in the 1990. It features modular
structure, which has become the trend in the LV apparatus technology.
Estimated annual output is 100,000 pieces. The total investment is 30
million yuan. Estimated annual output is 59 million-yuan.
Composite Material Arc Contacts for
High-voltage and
Ultrahigh-voltage Power Equipment
GWE enjoys the international leading technology for manufacturing
of
one-piece composite material HV vacuum contact (exceeding that of Japan and
Germany). The products have been exported to Japan, Italy, Taiwan, etc.
Estimated annual output is 380 tons. The total investment is 32 million
yuan. Estimated annual output is 70 million-yuan.
Harmonic-free High-voltage High-capacity
Frequency Inverter
This is a combination of many high technologies. It is up to now on
the
first stage of development in China. GWE first prototype, 400kW/60000V, is
in trial application now. The whole range products are under development.
The price is only two-third of imported one and the service cost is also
lower. There is huge market potential. The total investment is 4.50 million
yuan. Estimated annual output is 11 million-yuan.
Electric Drive System for Offshore Oil Rigs
Electric drive systems for use on land and desert, developed and
manufactured by GWE, are of international leading technology. They won many
national awards. They have also been exported to the Mid-East area. This
new system, featuring full digital and high capacity DC drive, is good for
offshore working conditions. The total investment is 8.0 million-yuan.

High-voltage Current-limiting Fuse
It is both safer and more economical to protect transformers,
motors and
capacitors with high-voltage current-limiting fuses. The estimated annual
output is 60,000 pieces. The total investment is 7.20 million-yuan.

Intelligent Prefabricated Substation
Because of its compact design, high reliability and less
maintenance,
prefabricated substations are widely used in urban electrical systems. Our
prefabricated substation is composed of cast epoxy dry type transformer,
SF6 ring main unit, low-voltage switchgear, metering and power equipment.
It realizes non-operator remote control through computer system, featuring
